
Happiness is a way of being…a way of living…an attitude of embracing and loving life with all its ups and downs. We don’t have to feel happy to be kind, forgiving and grateful. We don’t have to feel happy to be the bigger person. We don’t have to feel happy to choose wisdom and do our best.
If we let our emotions run our lives, then our lives will be completely out of control. Just look how out of control the world is…makes you wonder why? People are letting their emotions and knee jerk reactions run the show. Ugh, what a mess.
BEING happy means rising above our emotions and living with integrity even when we don’t feel like it. If you’re not feeling happy, IT’S OKAY! Be kind and honest and patient anyway. Things will get better.
Do your best, and take comfort in that.
